NAS JRB Community Garden: Thank you for visiting our blog. We are a new community garden located on a navy base in Belle Chasse, LA. We will post updates on our progress, information on gardening in general, and details about future events. Community gardening is becoming more and more popular for various reasons. Benefits include: an area to grow your own food, a cooperative environment of like minded people, the ability to share information and learn from those with experience in gardening, and the ability to give back to the community and environment in a tangible way.
